Chumbera Hill Main Pool

NERJA standing on a cliff at the foot of the towering Sierra del Almijara mountains is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain 30 miles from Malaga. The rocky promontory of the Balcon de Europa paved with mosaic and lined with flower beds and restaurants is linked to the old square in front of the San Salvador church built in 1697.

The properties on the top of little Chumbera Hill were designed and built by David Scott and are ow being updated for 2-17 while air conditioning is being fitted. All five properties have outstanding views of the mountains and of the sea.

 Casa Madrono and Casa Cascada

Two three bedroom, two floor villas each having two bathrooms and a cloakroom with outstanding views of the sea, the farmland and the Almijara mountains, Eight minutes walk down to the centre of the Burriana beach. A very quiet location but with several restaurants and two shops within a short walk.

Both villas have the same furniture and equipment but have different room shapes and sizes. By using the sofa beds in the living room a total of eight persons can be accommodated.

The main bedroom has queen sized double bed with a glimpse of a sea view and an en-suite bathroom with bath/shower and a solid marble vanity unit. Two other bedrooms each with twin beds. A second bathroom with bath/shower and marble vanity unit. Guest cloakroom.

The living room has marble floors, a generous open plan kitchen and a large terrace with stone BBQ so that eight people can dine outside with a view of the sea. All fully equipped with satellite TV, ceramic hob cooker, microwave, granite worktops, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric juicer, toaster, hairdryer, iron, washing machine, ceiling fans and heating in every room.

Stairs lead up to a roof terrace which has outstanding all round panoramic views of the sea and mountains and a further table and chairs for outdoor dining.Private pool 6m X 4m set in its own walled garden with sun lounger chairs and parasol

These are identical internally but outside Avocado  has the small private garden. They use our shared private pool.

Furnished and fully equipped in the same way as the larger villas with TV, dishwasher and washing machine, etc. Marble floor living room 7m x 5m with fireplace and heating. Master bedroom with queen size double bed, second bedroom with twin beds, Two bathrooms.

Sun terrace on the SE side with BBQ for outdoor eating and a secondary terrace or walled garden on the SW side for evening sun. Sea views. 25 yards to pool

Each built on one level but with five pink marble steps leading up to the master bedroom suite to add interest, Equipped to sleep a maximum of six persons (using in the living room the full length 2 metre sofa plus and additional Z bed if required at extra cost).

The wide sands of Burriana Beach are 8 minutes walk down from Chumberra Hill.
(You are allowed to take longer walking back after a good  lunch at one of the many restaurants.)
